This page highlights the planning, goals, and achievements of my Presidential Sabbatical Award.

I wish to thank Dr. Anne Kress, President of Northern Virginia Community College; Dr. Donna Minnich, Chair of Personnel Services Committee; Ms. Charlotte Calobrisi, Associate Vice President - Human Resources; and the members of the Personnel Services Committee for selecting my proposal and awarding me this sabbatical to conduct research for my novel In This Age of Hard Trying.
Additionally, I am grateful for my Woodbridge Campus administrators, who provided support and encouragement during my candidacy. Dr. Richmond Hill, Provost; Mr. David Epstein, Dean of Languages, Arts, and Social Sciences, and Ms. Stephanie Harm, Associate Dean of Languages, Arts, and Social Sciences are a true professorial dream team.
